Our mission is to help people find freedom from gambling addiction by connecting them to recovery, community, and life-giving resources. We also seek to educate the public about the devastating effects of gambling addiction and to offer hope to those who suffer and the families who love them.
Our story
GAMF stands for the Gambling Addiction Ministry Fund. GAMeetingFinder.com is a free service that GAMF offers. Our website started as a personal list of Zoom links kept by someone in early recovery who needed a meeting at any hour. That compulsive gambler and another, two normal Midwestern guys, met and grew the list into the most comprehensive free directory of gambling recovery meetings in the world, serving thousands of people every month.

How GAMF Was Born
The Founders of GAMF
In the spring of 2025, two men struggling with gambling addiction met in a recovery meeting. Both had been deeply hurt by gambling, but both had also found hope by talking with others who understood what they were going through.

As they talked, they realized how much gambling had changed. Anyone could place a bet in seconds using a phone or computer, any time of the day or night.
Finding help was not.
The two men believed getting help should be just as easy as placing a bet.
That belief led to the creation of GAmeetingFinder.com. The website was made to help people quickly find live online gambling recovery meetings in the United States and around the world. Meetings are available 24 hours a day and can be joined immediately, with no cost, signup, or waiting.
What started as a simple act of service has already helped thousands of people find support when they needed it most.
Many people have shared that they found a meeting while thinking about gambling, and that this tool helped them choose recovery instead.
They pray this meeting finder can become a bridge from hopelessness to hope for millions of people and the families who care about them.

A retired business executive with more than 20 years of recovery, CT brings deep industry relationships and strategic vision to GAMF. He leads our business development and partnership efforts, helping turn an idea into a real organization with real impact.

A tech programmer who once worked inside the gambling industry, Rick knows the system from the inside out. Now in recovery and happily building something that gives back, he serves as our technology and developer lead, keeping the platform running and growing.
Advisor
A Navy veteran and Harvard graduate in recovery, Dmitry has worked in the mental health field and previously ran a residential treatment center. He brings clinical perspective and operational experience to GAMF as we build toward our long-term care vision.

GAMF is not affiliated with Gamblers Anonymous International Service Office. We are an independent platform that lists GA meetings to make them easier to find for anyone who needs them.
GAMF is funded entirely by generous contributors who believe recovery should be free and accessible to everyone. We don't charge for access to the platform and never will. Every dollar contributed goes toward keeping the platform running and expanding our research and care initiatives.
